At Diamond MX, safety and progression go hand-in-hand. Our goal is to create an environment where riders can challenge themselves, build confidence, and improve their skills while maintaining respect for the track, fellow riders, and the sport itself.
Diamond MX is committed to providing a safe, family-friendly environment for riders of all ages and skill levels. Every rider shares responsibility for maintaining a positive riding experience by following track rules, wearing proper safety equipment, respecting fellow riders, and making smart decisions both on and off the track. Safety isn't just a rule—it's part of the Diamond MX culture.
Safety is our top priority at Diamond MX.This page is required reading for all participants. Please ensure you meet all requirements before arriving at the track for a smooth check-in and a great day of riding.
rider responsibilities
All riders are expected to:

Ensure all protective gear is on

Exit the track immediately if instructed by staff
Guardians must supervise minors at all times. Please ensure children understand all track flags and safety rules before they ride.

Beginners should utilise the Beginner / Kids Track until comfortable progressing.
PARENTS & GUARDIANS
If you’re new to riding tracks, start by reviewing our Rider Requirements page and consider training or coaching before riding the main track. our First Ride Experience program is designed specifically for new riders, helping them to get comfortable and familiar with how track days work.
Youth rider safety

Enter and exit the track only at designated locations.

Look before re-entering the track after a fall.

Do not stop on jumps, landings, or blind corners.

If you crash, move yourself and your motorcycle to safety as quickly as possible.

Never ride backward on the track.

Stay aware of faster riders while maintaining your line.

While we do not have EMT staff on site, local emergency services have direct access routes to the property.

Follow all posted signs and keep emergency access lanes clear.

Review evacuation routes at the check-in booth.

In the event of a serious incident, staff will call 911 immediately.

Notify a staff member or flagger for help.

Do not move injured persons unless they are in immediate danger

Concussion protocolOur strict concussion policy requires any rider who impacts their head or feels 'off' to stop riding for the day.

Riders under 18 should be closely monitored by parents during extreme heat.
heat & Hydration
Conditions can change quickly. Diamond MX may alter layouts, close sections, or pause sessions due to dust, mud, lightning, or poor visibility.
track conditions & weather
Removal from the facility may occur for:

Reckless riding
-
riding against the flow of traffic on the track. This is extremely dangerous and results in an immediate ban.

Aggressive riding
-
Stopping on jumps or in blind spots. This creates severe hazards for others.

Fighting

Harassment

Ignoring flag conditions

Unsafe pit riding

Failure to follow staff instructions

Alcohol or drug use while riding

We look out for each other. Please report any unsafe behavior to staff immediately. To keep everyone safe, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol.

When taking photos or videos, stay clear of track access points and do not use drones without written permission from Diamond MX.

Slow speeds only. A strict 5 mph speed limit is enforced in all pits and parking areas to protect riders, spectators, and volunteers.

No wheelies or horseplay.

Children must be supervised.

Keep pit areas clean and organized.
-
Respect neighboring pit setups.

For the safety of all riders, families, and staff, smoking is prohibited in designated areas where fuel, fuel containers, generators, or other flammable materials are present.
Please observe the following:

No smoking near fuel cans, fuel storage areas, or refueling activities.
-
No smoking inside buildings, registration areas, or enclosed structures.
-
No open flames, fireworks, or unauthorized fire pits on the property.
-
Dispose of cigarettes and smoking materials properly in designated receptacles.
-
Use extra caution around generators, vehicles, and fuel-handling areas.
Diamond MX reserves the right to restrict or prohibit smoking in any area where it may create a safety hazard.
Safety comes first. A single spark can create a dangerous situation in a busy pit area.
